including primitive tent sites along the river, electric only, electric/water, and full-hook-up campsites.

Eagle Cliff is a private and family-friendly campground located on the Root River only three miles east of Lanesboro, Minnesota.

Campground Rules

  • 5 MPH Speed Limit – Enforced and must be followed at all times.
  • QUIET TIME is 11 p.m.-7 a.m. No radios or generators after 10 p.m. No driving after 11 p.m.
  • NO OUTDOOR MATS are allowed.
  • VISITORS must pay upon arrival at the office. $3 per adult and must leave by 10 p.m.
  • PARKING – only one vehicle is allowed to park on RV sites. Others must park in designated areas.
  • TENTERS – No driving or parking on tent sites. Unload from the road and park in a designated area. No tarps or plastic under your tent. Move tents every two nights.
  • NO PARKING AWNING-TO-AWNING. Please follow the directions given.
  • GOLF CARTS ARE ALLOWED. No ATVs or UTVs.
  • DO NOT REMOVE OR MOVE YOUR FIRE PIT. Burn wood or charcoal only – No trash or garbage. Extinguish fire before leaving.
  • KEEP YOUR SITE CLEAN. Remove all trash, cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc. Large dumpsters are provided for trash. Failure to clean your site will incur an additional charge.
  • PETS must be leashed or tethered. Do not leave pets unattended. You must pick up all pet waste and put in in the trash, not the portable toilets. Any pet damage will incur an additional charge.
  • DO NOT POUR HOT LIQUIDS OR COOKING OIL ON YOUR SITE. Pour them in the fire pit or on the gravel roads.
  • NO REFUNDS due to weather, work obligations, etc.
